Dr. George Tiller You Will Be Missed

Published by dsent at 3:52 am under Religion, current events,, news Edit This

On Sunday some nut case killed Dr. George Tiller. Dr. Tiller was a doctor who performed abortions in Wichita, Kansas. He had been shot in the past but refused to abandon his practice or the patients who needed his services. Dr. Shelley Sella spoke with Democracy Now about Dr. Tiller and she reported this axiom that he had imparted at a conference she was attending; “The woman’s body is smarter than the doctor. Time, patience, and the baby will come. Respect the woman’s rhythm. And if you forget the second and third rule, remember the first. The woman’s body is smarter than the doctor.” Doctors like George Tiller are a rare commodity; he showed uncommon courage, understanding and respect. Whether or not his clinic will survive in his absence is unclear.  But his life will always be a source of inspiration for those fighting for women’s reproductive rights. http://www.democracynow.org/2009/6/1/dr_george_tiller_1941_2009_murdered

Spot on…I am truly moved by your tribute. Doctors like Dr. Tiller give women hope and options. The idiot who pulled the trigger is one sicko bastard with extreme regilious ties…

If you don’t like abortions don’t have one! Let women decide….

    Peace Brother
