Pat Leahy Can Eat My Shorts

Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy can eat my shorts! Truth Commission my ass. This is not a fledgling democracy, are we South Africa? Get Serious Pat; war crimes were committed, where are the special prosecutors? The Republicans gave us a special prosecutor because Bill Clinton got his dick sucked, you’re telling me when the republican president commits war crimes you want a “truth commission”?? To appoint a commission to hand out immunity and tell tales is meaningless. Accountability! We got the papers; we know crimes were committed, what is this truth commission bullshit. The president assumed dictatorial power, authorizing the military to conduct domestic operations against our own population! What does it take to outrage Mr. Leahy? Or for that matter, Mr. Obama, these are police state tactics. These type of policy’s are the legal equivalent of shredding our constitution. Combine that with all the needless bloodshed and you have a fuckin tyrant. Hello? Truth Commission? Try war crimes tribunal. Mr. Leahy is trivializing the gravity of the crimes committed. Christ, he is the Senate Judiciary Chairman; he knows his own actions are bullshit. He should be laughed out of the fuckin Senate. This is like saying call the janitor because someone is in the bathroom with a bomb. What could make our “leaders” (and I do use that term loosely) so hesitant to enforce the law? So hesitant to prosecute war criminals? And yet so willing to support them if they are from Israel?  That’s why I can’t stand the Democratic Party, they act like they care about the rule of law, and it’s a bad act. At least with the Republican Party people knew they didn’t give a shit about the law. I think that makes the Democrats even more dangerous.

Thanks dsent-now I can tear up my next post. LOL. You are right on as far as depicting the gravity of this issue. The Office of Legal Counsel, under the direction of that ass John Yoo, gave Bush the power to throw the 1st and 4th Amendments out the window. I think it important to point out the role our good friend Rumsfeld played in this sequel to the Iran-Contra Affair. See www.commondreams.org/headline/2008/12/14. You defiinitely nailed this one my friend and I’m serious about having to come up with a new post. At least I could add a bit to your article. Well done amigo.
