Ebay Wont Let Me Sell My Kidney!
Ebay Wont Let Me Sell My Kidney! It’s my damn kidney where does anyone get off telling me I can’t sell the damn thing. I don’t need it, but think of what it could bring on the open market! Market values that’s the mantra, right? I mean look, people sell themselves every day. They sell their labor, their self respect, their moms jewelry and whatever else they have to sell they sell it. Why shouldn’t my body belong to me? To do with as I see fit.
It’s like prostitution, why is it illegal to sell something that is legal to give away. Our laws are just plain stupid? I can’t smoke pot but I can get blind drunk on alcohol… What the fuck is that all about? Who makes these rules? Better yet, why do people take them seriously?
Look around us folks. There are children who have bombs falling on their homes, there are children without access to clean water and guess what they die from it, yup that’s right campers cute little baby’s choking down the grim reapers cock for lack of potable water. And people want to get preachy about what I want to do with my own goddamn kidney.
I call bullshit on the entire justice/just-is system. Is it justice to send a 19 year old boy to prison where he gets raped in the ass because he sold some weed? News flash, its happening. Is it justice to send some woman to jail because she smoked some skin pipe to buy baby formula? Nobody’s business but the pipe owner and the pipe smoker.
What kind of world do you want to live in? I don’t know anything about Right and Wrong. I just know what my own sensibilities will allow. And I’m not prepared to say that my personal opinions should be the law. But I am prepared to say that government needs to stay the hell out of my business. Sovereignty of conscious is the right to pursue ‘life, liberty and happiness”. Sounds a bit anarchistic. Oh well. I got enough on my plate when it comes to figuring out what’s “Right or Wrong” for me, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna try to tell you what’s Right for you.
What I will tell you is that I have some rather strong preferences, I prefer to see hungry people get fed, I prefer to see people in need of medical care receive that care and I prefer to see people have shelter from the elements. And that’s been enough to get me called “red/commie/socialist” etc… What the hell, this is 2009 and we still don’t have a consensus on issues like what to do about hungry children… For Christ’s sake, feed them. Even if it cost ADM (supermarket to the world) a few million bucks hell make McDonalds kick in a few million, I think they’ll be ok… But wait…. I have committed economic blasphemy; I put shareholders interests behind the interest of hungry children. My bad, that does sound a bit “red”. Might makes Right. And if you have the power you deserve the rewards it can acquire for you. Which gets me back to selling my kidney. I’m not actually saying I have the inclination, I’m simply asking, since everyone has a price, why shouldn’t I be able to set mine?

Better yet, why is salvia legal, but pot isn’t…. there’s NO excuse for that…
Salvia divinorum, hmm Salvia…….. Hmmm… Wow, mind blowing stuff. I would never say it should be illegal but… hmmmm… Wicked powerful shit… hmm Salvia, yea…. What can be said about salvia… hmmm ….. Don’t do it alone.
Sex, drugs…what no rock-n-roll? Some huge topics wrapped up in a cozy blog.
I say let her sell it…you’re paying for her not to be there in the morning. That’s not paying for sex more like cab fare.
Soon, we will grow kidneys from stem cells in a lab…What if we all grew spare parts for our own use? No selling there or would there be?
“Don’t bogart that joint, my friend, pass it on over here”…Legalize all drugs and require a picture ID and 21 years old. Tax it…and spend the money on drug education, and treatment. When are we going to realize that the war on drugs is not working? Change, I voted for change….change this.
I liked your blog keep ‘em rollin’.
I stand corrected, too have not included that wicked devils music was an egregious oversight. Growing your own…. Um parts, yea… good idea, I’m sure there will be a ‘healthy’ tax on that. (Oh shit, did I just use a pun, sorry ‘bout that) As for the War On Drugs not working… Well I guess that’s the only part I don’t fully concur with. It’s working just fine for the Prison Industrial Complex, for the cop business and for the government who has been in the drug dealing business for over 50yrs. Aggressive interdiction policies keep prices high. But for the citizens of the country it’s a bloody fuckin’ disaster. . . But your reply was quite cogent thanx.
