US Government Support of Terrorism
How many terrorists’ organizations has the
US government supported? I seem to have lost track over the years. Should we count dictators as terrorists? If we do it becomes even more difficult to count. Since I don’t have time to list them all, I’ll just mention a few. François “Papa Doc” Duvalier/ baby Doc, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Augusto Pinochet, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi aka; the shah of Iran, Alberto Fujimori, Shimon Peres and I could go on and on and on. But really I think you get the point. How can we have a war on terrorism when we constantly support terrorists? And for that matter when did Osama Bin Laden stop doing work for the
US government? His actions on 9/11 provided the perfect pretext to start 2 wars that the Bush administration had been frothing at the bit to start. CUI BONO? Who benefits? After making Osama Bin Laden a big man by supporting his Mujahadeen fighters in Afghanistan, funneling money to him through
Pakistan’s ISI so he doesn’t have to take money directly from the “great Satan” the dog then turns and bites the hand that fed him. But strangely enough his actions still served the interest of his “former” benefactors in
Washington DC. Things that make ya go hmmm. This bill of goods wont pass the horseshit test, looks like horseshit smells like horseshit and came out of a horses ass well its probably horseshit. It sure looks like Osama Bin Laden is still one of
Washington’s greatest assets. We are sure to see Barack Obama escalate the war in
Afghanistan, chasing this dangerous terrorist though the mountains and leaving a trail of civilian blood behind.
We need the money that’s being spent in Afghanistan and
Iraq here at home. Too many of our soldiers have already died too many Afghan and Iraqi civilians have already died and how many terrorists have we created by killing family’s of young Islamic men who NOW want revenge for their deaths? It’s high time to rethink our country’s foreign policy. The
USA is in a unique position in the world we are the most powerful empire the world has ever seen. Empires are notorious for terrorism and the
USA is no exception. The old story of the emperor and the pirate comes to mind. A pirate is someone who steals rapes and pillages with one ship an emperor uses an entire navy. A terrorist is someone who kills with a bomb strapped to his chest but if you do the killing with a proper military and men wearing uniforms somehow you can get away with calling it a war on terrorism. It’s a little like a war on drugs in a country where you can buy alcohol and tobacco on any city street corner. In the words of Eldridge Cleaver “call a spade a mutha fuckin spade”. Bartenders are drug dealers and war is terrorism.
