So, a Buddhist monk goes up to a hotdog vendor and says “make me one with everything.” The hotdog vendor chuckles and gives the Buddhist monk a hotdog with everything. The monk gives the vendor a $20 bill and the vendor turns away and goes back to work… The monk says “hey what about change” the vendor turns back and says “Real change must come from within.”And so it goes with this nation. If we are not going to look inside ourselves and question what it is within us that has led us choose back and forth between the same two parties for years on end and never see real change how can we expect anything of meaning to happen just because people voted for a candidate who’s platform was “change”, I think you might have noticed that politicians lie? Remember “No New Taxes”?  To continue the same actions and expect different results is called crazy. 

 Once again I am inclined to quote Henry David Thoreau’s essay on civil disobedience;

 “I heartily accept the motto, “That government is best which governs least”; and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically. Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe–”That government is best which governs not at all”; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have.” And when the electorate is ready for change they will change who they vote for, when you vote for the “lesser of two evils” you are still voting for evil. When you want real change you will vote for a candidate who is not entrenched in the party system but is free thinking and not in the pocket of big business and war profiteers.
